FUNDRAISING

 

With Radio Broadgreen being a registered charity, they rely on donations to keep themselves afloat.

The station has also held winter roadshows around the city. They have been at New Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle and at Belle Vale Shopping Centre in Belle Vale. All of the volunteers attended, trying to raise as much money for the station as possible by selling raffle tickets and asking for a small donation to the Radio Broadgreen fund.

The volunteer's also take part in sponsored bag packs which are held in the local supermarkets.

The last 2 sponsored bag packs have been a major success for Radio Broadgreen with enough money being raised to keep the station ticking over for the time being.

With the hard work of the volunteers, Radio Broadgreen plans on running as many fundraising events as possible to make sure that the radio station is broadcasting the best quality it can to our loyal patients.
